The sentencing hearing for a Hudson man convicted in a Reno County meth case from August of last year was scheduled for Friday, but that has been continued until October 21.

45-year-old George Krankenberg faces sentencing of charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package, possession of marijuana, and Valium, and a charge of not having a Kansas drug tax stamp.

The case centers on Reno County Sheriff’s Deputies doing a search of his Chevy truck at K-96 and Sandcreek back on August 26 of last year. They allegedly found two ounces of meth, a zip lock bag of marijuana, a digital scale, and packaging materials. They also allegedly found 100 Valium pills in three different pill bottles with the labels torn off.

Also arrested in the case was 30-year-old Natalie Goin originally charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, entered a plea to a reduce charge of simple possession, and possession of drugs with no tax stamp. She was sentenced back in April and is currently on community corrections.
