While the County Sales Tax numbers were up in July, they are down some this month according to numbers released by County Treasure Clark Miller.
According to the latest numbers, the county brought in 374-thousand, 360-dollars in August, 22-thousand 162-dollars less then in July. And also considerably less then in August of 2012, when the county brought in 395-thousand, 612.
However, so far for the year, the county has brought in 2-million, 909-thousand, 931-dollars. That’s almost 90-thousand dollars more then at this same time last year.
The numbers reflect sales in June here in the county.
