A 29-year-old Hutchinson man was taken to a Wichita hospital after a go-cart accident on East A.

According to Hutchinson Police, Joseph Ryan Taber collided with a parked vehicle in the 1300 block of East Ave A. Taber was was not wearing a helmet.

He was transported by Midwest Lifeteam to Via-Cristi St. Francis Regional Medical Center. His injuries included his right leg, ankle and possibly internal and head injuries.

Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash which occurred around 6:30 p-m.
