The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce announces the release of the 2014 Business Conditions Report. The Business Conditions Report details the strengths and weaknesses of the Hutchinson and Reno County business climate identified during a comprehensive business retention and expansion survey.

During the spring and summer months of 2013, heads of 54 businesses in the Hutchinson/Reno County area participated in individual, on-site interviews with Chamber economic development staff to gauge business conditions in the community. Results from the on-site interviews were collected and summarized in the Business Conditions Report, which was released at the Chamber economic development breakfast on Thursday, September 19, 2013.

“Results from this survey have shown us that primary employers in the community are strong and many have specific plans for expansion,” Says Jason Ball, President/CEO of the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce. “We are not without challenges, but the overall outlook of top executives is very favorable.”

The release of the report coincides with the release of the new chamber website, community economic and demographic data, and the certification of the Kansas Enterprise Industrial Park.
