A 16-year-old was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries after he crashed his vehicle Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to 69 th & Pennington and when they arrived, they found a Gold, 1997 Ford F-150 Pick up on its side. The driver was partially ejected and pinned underneath the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Zachary Tyler Gilley. He says he was eastbound on 69th, approaching Pennington Rd., when he swerved to miss another vehicle and went into the north ditch. He then over corrected and went across the roadway and into the south ditch where the vehicle rolled several times and leaving him pinned beneath the vehicle.
Hutch Fireman were able to remove Gilley from under the vehicle.
The accident occurring around 3:30 p-m, Wednesday afternoon.
