One of Two Men Accused In Robbery Case Enters Guilty Plea

One of two Hutchinson men arrested in the early morning hours of March 30, after allegedly taking a bag of cash from an employee of the Dickinson Theaters at 1500 East 11th, entered a guilty plea to the robbery charge against him.

25-year-old Robert Raigoza will be sentenced on December 6, in front of Judge Joe McCarville and both sides are expected to recommend probation.

The case against a co-defendant, Preston Riagoza will move back to the waiver-status docket on December 11.

The robbery allegedly occurring while an employee was at Central Bank & Trust at 1330 East 17th. The two were arrested in the 2100 block of North Lorraine, that early Saturday morning. The incident reported to police around 12:40 a-m.

The two were scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.

Both remain free on bonds of 10-thousand dollars.
