A 14 year old school student at Hutchinson Middle School-8 was arrested after making threatening remarks in class Wednesday afternoon.

According to USD-308 spokesperson Ray Hemman, the 14 year old male made the threats although he couldn’t be specific as to what was said.

The school removed the student then call police and his parents. He was arrested on a single charge of criminal threat.

Hemman says they did not send out any notice to parents and there were no injuries. The incident was reported to police around 2 p-m.
