Six people were arrested after the Reno County Drug Unit and Hutchinson Police served a search warrant on a home 1241 North Forrest.

The home belonged to Nicholas Buckaloo and he was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of morphine and possession of drug paraphernalia. They allegedly found two zip-lock bags of meth and 1-morphine pill. They also found a marijuana pipe with residue in the garage. Buckaloo apparently blurted out at the time of his arrest. “Congratulations, you found out I’m a drug addict.” His bond was left at 5-thousand, 500-dollars partly because of his arrest last week for theft, plus he has a long criminal history. He blames it all on drugs and alcohol.

Law enforcement executed a search warrant on the vehicle he was driving. When law enforcement made contact, he allegedly had a bag of marijuana inside his mouth and they claim he tried to eat it. He allegedly had to be physically removed from the vehicle.

Inside the vehicle were numerous zip-lock bags, half of a burned marijuana cigarette and one morphine pill. They also allegedly found a shotgun with the serial numbers scratched off and the barrel had been cut shorter then 16-inches. His bond set at 11-thousand dollars. He also has two other cases pending.

The last person arrested was 18-year-old Jeffrey Taapken who apparently judge recently moved here from southeast Kansas. He was charged with possession of K-2, or synthetic Marijuana. His bond, 500-dollars O-R.
