A 26-year-old Hutchinson man accused of two counts of aggravated battery, aggravated assault and aggravated endangerment was in court Thursday afternoon for a pretrial hearing in his case.

According to the criminal complaint, Mitchell Stahl backed into a woman and her child with his vehicle and also threatened her with a baseball bat. The whole thing started with Stahl getting into an argument with the victim, Tisha Crile. This started after she reportedly saw him being abusive to a young child.

The alleged crimes occurring on the parking lot of Walmart back on July 4, 2013.

Judge Tim Chambers didn’t set a trial date as of yet, but did set a motions deadline of December 6. .
