Two Hutchinson Community College students from out of state were in court this morning on charged of burglary of a dwelling and theft.
18-year-old Jaleel Scott from South Carolina, and 19-year-old Jackie M. Curry from Ohio were arrested Monday evening after allegedly entered a female students dorm room at the college and allegedly stealing her books.
Both had bonds of 6-thousand, 500-dollars and after making an appearance in court, Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen lowered the bonds to 15-hundred each. Both apparently here on scholarship.
Both will be back in court once the state files formal charges.
