Cokie Roberts, noted political analyst and author, will be the final speaker for the 2011 Ray and Stella Dillon Lecture Series at Hutchinson Community College. Roberts will lecture on November 3, at 10:30 a-m, in the Hutchinson Sports Arena and is open to the public. Cost to attend the lecture is only $10, with students admitted free.
Roberts will speak on a variety of topics related to today’s political and economic environment.
She will also provide question and answer at the patron luncheon for the Lecture Series, immediately following her presentation.
Roberts is one of the top political analysts today. A political commentator for ABC News, Roberts is also the senior news analyst for National Public Radio.
Roberts has won a host of awards in her more than 40 years in broadcast journalism. She has won three Emmy Awards, and is a member of the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame. She has been recognized by the American Women in Radio and Television as one of the 50 greatest women in the history of broadcasting.
