The Hutchinson Fire Department Wednesday responded to the 2700 block of St. Elmo Dr., west of Hutchinson for the report of a structure fire.

When they arrived, fire units found a 15 x 15 shed and an RV well involved with extension to 2 campers and a Suburban at the rear of the residence. A large 30 x 20 shed was also threatened to the north due to the gusty winds experienced in the area on Wednesday.

The fire was controlled in 20-minutes. Preliminary damage is estimated at 12-thousand dollars and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Hutchinson Fire responded with 6 units and Fire District #3 responded a Water Tender on automatic aid.

The fire was reported around 1:15 p-m.
