Hutchinson High School has announced that current Hays High School football coach Ryan Cornelson has been hired as the head coach for the Salthawks.  Cornelson replaces Randy Dreiling who will move on to coach at St Thomas Aquinas in Kansas City. Cornelson was 35 and 12 over the past five season with the Indians and won the WAC league championship three times and a district championship once.  Prior coaching at Hays, Cornelson was the head coach at LaCrosse where he was 53-13. AIn addition to coaching football, Cornelson will be a physical education instructor in USD-308.
