Sentencing In Sexual Battery Case Continued To Later This Month

Sentencing for a Mulvane area man found “guilty” of aggravated sexual battery was set for sentencing on Friday, but has now been pushed back to February 20.

Jodie Mosier had been accused of raping or attempting to rape the victim, but the jury found him “not guilty” of the rape charge

The crime of sexual battery occurring on the 32-year-old victim at M&M Point at Cheney Lake back on May 30, 2010.

He also faces criminal charges involving the same victim and her daughter for allegations involving rape and inappropriate touching of a small child in Sedgwick County.

The hearing on February 20 will also included pre-sentencing motions and will be decided by District Judge Tim Chambers.
