Three people were taken to the hospital in McPherson after a two vehicle accident on K-61, in McPherson County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 63-year-old Kathy Penner of Inman was westbound on Comanche Road and failed to yield to a southbound vehicle on K-61. That vehicle driven by 33-year-old Taryn R. Wiggins of Inman. Her vehicle then struck the Penner vehicle in a side impact collision.

Neither Penner nor her passenger were injured, but Wiggins and her two passengers were taken to McPherson Hospital for treatment.

The accident occurring right at 5 p-m, Wednesday evening near Groveland.
