Southwest Bancorp, Inc. reported a net loss of $10.6 million, or $0.54 per share for the third quarter of 2011, compared to a net income of $2.8 million, or $0.15 per share for the third quarter of 2010, and to a net loss of $4.0 million, or $0.21 per share for the second quarter of 2011.

The company which includes Bank of Kansas branches in Hutchinson and South Hutchinson also reported a net loss for the nine months ended September 30, 2011 was $13.2 million, or $0.68 per share, compared to net income for the nine months ended September 30, 2010 of $9.5 million, or $0.55 per share.
