The Reno County Appraisers Office released its September sales report on Wednesday.

According to Reno County Appraiser Lori Reedy, there were 70 residential sales in September, 10 foreclosures making up those transactions, or 14%, somewhat lower than what has been typical over the last few of years.

There were 61 sales in September 2010, 54 in 2009 and 81 in 2008. To date, there have been 573 sales this year compared to 674 by this time last year, 565 in 2009 and 445 in 2008.

Reedy says the commercial market appears to be stable. There were 7 commercial
sales in September, 8 in September 2010 and only 1 in September 2009.

There have been 57 commercial sales so far this year compared to 57 by this time last
year and 57 in 2009.
