The sentencing hearing for a Hudson man convicted in a meth case from August of last year is scheduled for Friday.

George Krankenberg faces sentencing of charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package, possession of marijuana, and Valium, and a charge of not having a Kansas drug tax stamp is scheduled once again for Friday.

The case against Krankenberg centers on Reno County Sheriff’s Deputies doing a search of his Chevy truck at K-96 and Sandcreek back on August 26 of last year. They allegedly found two ounces of meth, a zip lock bag of marijuana, a digital scale, and packaging materials. They also allegedly found 100 Valium pills in three different pill bottles with the labels torn off.

Also arrested in the case was 30-year-old Natalie Goin originally charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, entered a plea to a reduce charge of simple possession, and possession of drugs with no tax stamp. She was sentenced back in April and is currently on community corrections.

Krankenberg is scheduled to be sentenced Friday afternoon in front of Judge Joe McCarville.
