UPDATE: Hutchinson Man Makes Brief Court Appearance In Marijuana Distribution Cases

The 26-year-old Hutchinson man with three cases pending for the alleged distribution of marijuana made a brief court appearance Wednesday for a status hearing only to be told that all three cases will be in a future waiver-status docket.

The most recent case involves a drug related search warrant being served on Jeremy Jiles apartment at 1300 East 33rd, back on February 21. Drug Unit Detectives allegedly found a black backpack that contained over a pound of marijuana, a digital scale and new packaging materials. They also found a large quantity of cash in his dresser drawer.

Jiles is free on a 150-thousand dollar bond and has Wichita Attorney Charlie O’Hara representing him for all three cases which includes charges associated with the distribution of marijuana.

The case goes back to September 20, 2013. In this case, he allegedly had more then 450-grams of marijuana, as well as packaging materials. And in a third case which goes back to January 16, he also allegedly had a large amount of marijuana, more then 450-grams as well as packaging materials.

The three cases are now scheduled for a future waiver-status hearing.
