A 19-year-old Halstead man was one of the people injured in a two car crash on I-235 in Wichita over the weekend.

Brodie Allen Thompson was traveling the interstate when he failed to stop for a vehicle which had stopped for other traffic. He struck the vehicle driven by 26-year-old Jason Robert Goetz of Wichita.

Thompson and his 18-year-old passenger, Elizabeth Canales of Wichita were both transported to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita for treatment of injuries.

The accident occurring around 4 p-m, Saturday on I-235 near the Broadway exit in Wichita.
