GREAT BEND–After the fire burned down the Conference Center at Camp Aldrich 12 days ago, plans were put in motion to find new locations for upcoming events on the grounds Northeast of Great Bend.

A big concern was the location for Camp Hope. Camp Hope, the camp held for kids battling cancer, called Camp Aldrich its home for over 30 years. While speculations circled on the new location for the camp, Gail Moeder a member of the Camp Hope Committee, made it official Wednesday afternoon Camp Hope will take place at Barton Community College in Great Bend.

Camp Hope is open to children between the ages of 5 and 17 years old.
