A country music icon, a new stage version of a classic American novel and a world-renowned pop music tribute are part of the new season lineup just announced by the Hutchinson Fox Theatre. The series, called “Opening New Doors,” will feature eight shows from late September to mid-April 2015.

The season kicks off with the comedy of Russian-born entertainer Yakov Smirnoff with a new show called “The Happily Ever Laughter Tour,” on Saturday, September 20th. That will be followed by Grammy-winning jazz and swing band The Texas Gypsies on Friday, October 10th; country music star Rosanne Cash and her band in concert on Saturday, November 8th, and the return of the outstanding accapella vocal group, Rockapella to the Fox with a holiday-themed show on Thursday, December 4th.

The series resumes after the holidays with an appearance by “A Band Called Honalee,” featuring a sentimental tribute to the music of Peter, Paul and Mary, on Saturday, January 17, 2015. Next up is the outstanding touring company Montana Repertory Theatre with a new production of “The Great Gatsby” on Thursday, February 19, 2015; and the world-renowned ABBA tribute group “Arrival” on Saturday, March 14, 2015. The series closes out with one of the most popular and influential groups of the 1960s and 70s, the legendary Classics IV, in concert on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
