MCPHERSON–A teenage driver was injured in an I-135 accident at 7:35 Thursday morning.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Honda Accord driven by Almandee Leadonn, 17, Salina, was traveling northbound on I-135 seven miles north of McPherson.

For an unknown reason the vehicle left the roadway entering the median and across the culvert coming to a rest on the other side.

Leadonn was transported to the McPherson Medical Center.

The KHP reported she was properly restrained.
