HUTCHINSON, Kan. — For 39 years, Dr. Cindy Hoss, Ed.D. has served community and technical colleges, secondary
and middle schools, university adult education programs, employing both on ground/online delivery and site-based programming and service.
Dr. Hoss is the current Vice President of Academic Affairs at Hutchinson Community College. In her immediate past role, she was the Provost/Chief Academic Officer and interim President at Grantham University, Kansas City, MO. Other positions included working in technical education for the Kansas
Board of Regents; adult education for the School of Professional and Graduate Studies, Baker University; and academic affairs for several community colleges in Kansas and Washington state. In addition to her administrative positions, Dr. Hoss has taught master’s level liberal arts, English, speech communication, credit/noncredit courses and training in both a full-time and part-time capacity during these 39 years.
Her education includes an Ed.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln; both a Master and Bachelorof Arts in English/teacher education from Fort Hays State University, KS; and an Associate of Arts from Barton County Community College, KS. Dr. Hoss holds numerous certifications in distance learning, accreditation, mentoring, and leadership.
