LAWRENCE, Kan. — Naadir Tharpe is gone, but Bill Self says his team will be fine. The Jayhawks not only return capable guards Frank Mason, Conner Frankamp and Wayne Selden, but can now tout the commitment of point guard Devonte Graham.

Graham is a 6-foot-2 guard from Brewster Academy who chose the University of Kansas Friday over North Carolina State. Jason Smith, Graham’s coach at Brewster, tweeted the announcement.

 

The Graham committal comes just one day after Myles Turner chose Texas over Kansas. Bill Self says missing on Turner is no big deal as the Jayhawks return five post players next season.
