A 29-year-old Hutchinson woman who was arrested on meth charges back on October 20 was in court Wednesday morning where she was read the formal charges in the case.
Nicole Walters was stopped at U-S 50 and Airport Road by the Reno County Drug Unit for suspected sales of drugs. She was the only one in the vehicle at the time of the stop and they apparently did a search of her vehicle. Reportedly, they found two ounces of ice meth, a digital scale, a glass pipe with alleged residue and around 17-hundred dollars in cash.
They also say they found a book which they say was consistent with owe sheets inside the vehicle.
Charges include possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tax stamp.
Her bond in the case set at 65-hundred dollars.
