HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A child is taken to the hospital after he was hit by a car while riding his bike Sunday afternoon.

Hutchinson Police say 10-year-old Talyn Harris of 311 East 16th,  was riding his bike around 2 pm when he was hit by a car driven by 62-year-old Robert Ulbrich of 105 East 16th. Harris was taken by EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center with numerous abrasions.

The accident occurred at the intersection of 13th and Main.
