Local agent Bob Fee to pursue seat on national insurance board

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Bob Fee, President and Chief Operating Officer of Fee Insurance Group in Hutchinson has announced that he is running for a seat on the executive committee of the Insurance Agent & Brokers Association (IIABA) board of directors. The IIABA, founded in 1896, is a national alliance comprised of more than a quarter million people in the insurance services industry.

At the state level, Fee has served the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA) in many capacities for over 25-years. He’s held positions on the KAIA board of directors, and served as president in 2007-2008. Since 2012, Fee has served as the state national director for KAIA. In 2011, Fee earned the IIABA Chairman’s Award for his leadership and contributions on the national level.

The election will be decided by the national directors from each state association in April 2015.

Founded in 1883, Fee Insurance Group is headquartered in Hutchinson, with additional offices in McPherson, Salina, and Wichita.
