HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson man made a first appearance this morning after recently being arrested for aggravated battery-domestic violence.
District Attorney Keith Schroeder has charged this crime against Alexis Silvia for allegedly injuring an infant child. Schroeder wouldn’t comment much on the circumstances of the case only to say, Silvia injured the child’s left leg.
The alleged crime occurring sometime between August 24 and October of last year. The investigation resulted in the charge against Silvia. If convicted, he’s looking at a sentencing range of 31 to 136 months in prison.
He is expected back in court on June 17.
