HUTCHINSON, Kan. — United Way of Reno County is holding their second “Day of Caring” on Friday, June 6. Donors who give to United Way can see how their donation is helping to change and improve lives.

Employees from 11 different businesses will be able to get connected with United Way partner agencies, to see their gift at work. Those businesses include Dillon’s, the Hutchinson Clinic, City of Hutchinson, Cargill, Target, Reno County Chamber, KFSA, Kroger, Mennonite Friendship Communities, the Hutchinson News and Reno County.

The Day of Caring morning is a great team building activity as well as raising the awareness within a local business of the needs out in our community.

Participants will hear from Interfaith Housing and then will visit one of our other participating agencies; Hospice and Homecare of Reno County, Boys and Girls Club, New Beginnings, Elmdale 50+, Hadley Day Care Center, and hear from The Volunteer Center.
