MCPHERSON, Kan. – A man who was charged in a case as a result of an McPherson County accident that injured a McPherson teacher and another person has entered a plea in the case.

McPherson County Attorney David Page says Jeffrey Paul Davis entered a plea of “no contest” to one of two counts of aggravated battery, while intoxicated, causing great bodily harm and he was found “guilty.” As part of the plea agreement, the state dropped the second count of aggravated battery-DUI and a separate charge of DUI . Page explains that the DUI charge is actually found within the first aggravated battery count.

The charges against Davis were filed after a crash which severely injured Mija Stockman and also injured Pamela Pjesky. This occurring on December 20, 2013.

Sentencing for Davis was scheduled for July 7, at 1:00 p.m.
