BURDETT, Kan. — A Buhler woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Pawnee County yesterday afternoon.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that 33-year-old Megan Janke was a passenger in a car driven by Nikki Backstrom of Ness City. Backstrom was going north on a county road when the vehicle hit a bump, went airborne and then rolled into the ditch. Backstrom and Janke were both taken to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital for treatment.

The accident happened around 2:10 p.m., five miles west of Burdett.
