CHERRYVALE, Kan- A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 8 a.m. on Friday in Montgomery County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1995 Ford truck driven by Robert Thomas Shelton, 35, Burlingame was eastbound on County Road 6600 eight miles north of Cherryvale and traveled off the right side of the roadway.

The driver attempted to correct and rolled the vehicle into the ditch.

Shelton was transported to Neodesha Hospital. The KHP reported he was not wearing a seat belt.
