9:45 a.m. update Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski: Galazia Niehaus,13, was stabbed to death in Northwest Saline County. Deputies were notified just after 1:30 Friday morning. The sheriff has not confirmed that an arrest has been made.

6 a.m. SALINA — According to law enforcement authorities, a 13-year-old girl was stabbed to death at approximately 1:30 a.m. Friday on Remington Road in Salina.

The victim’s sister reportedly was taken into custody. The Saline County Sheriff is expected to release additional details later today.
