Employees of the Hutchinson Montana Mike Steak House were informed Sunday night that the store was closing its doors effective immediately. The restaurant is owned by LL&G, a franchise owner for Stockade Companies of Tyler, Texas, the parent company behind Montana Mikes and Sirloin Stockade, which also has a restaurant in Hutchinson.

According to Gail Premer of LL&G, the store in Hutchinson is closing affecting 30-employees.

Premer says high commodity prices and fuel surcharges in deliveries are hurting the bottom line for all restaurants. LL&G owns nine other Montana Mikes around Kansas including restaurants in Newton and McPherson.
