HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Road work on 17th, from Plum Street to Severance, will be occurring this week.
According to officials of APAC, the asphalt surface of the street will be milled Tuesday and parking along the street will not be allowed between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. If you have to travel through the work zone, be cautious of workers and equipment, and expect short delays and temporary detours.
Then on Wednesday and Thursday, it will be a whole different story. If weather permits on those two days, the road will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. When the road is closed, traffic will be detoured north to 23rd. Residents of Faircrest addition will need to use Norman Road to exit the neighborhood onto Plum Street.
