HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The preliminary hearing in the case against Raymond Kimball was continued Wednesday when the state indicated that some of their law enforcement witnesses are in training and would not be available. And apparently the state wasn’t aware that Raymond Kimball is back in prison, so no order was made to have him transported from the Hutchinson Correctional Facility to court.

Kimball is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with a prior conviction, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to package and no drug tax stamp.

Drug Unit Detectives say they found a white rocky substance, green leafy vegetation, a digital scale, and new and used packaging inside the home. The white rocky substance tested positive for cocaine and weighed about 25 grams. The green leafy substance field tested for marijuana and weighed about 4.3 grams.

He was arrested with 24-year-old Holly Caudillo.

No new date was announced for the hearing, but when they schedule it, we’ll be there to cover and let you know what happens.

Kimball is being housed at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility on a parole violation.
