A Hays teenager was injured in a one vehicle accident on K-18 Highway, two miles West of Zurich just before 10 AM today.

17-year-old Blake McClung was West bound on K18 highway when he swerved to miss a turkey, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. His vehicle entered the South ditch where it rolled and came to rest facing North.

McClung was taken to the Rooks County Hospital in Plainville. His condition has not been made available. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
