DODGE CITY, Kan- With no Democratic challenger to face in the November general election, Sally Cauble will return to her District 5 seat on the Kansas State Board of Education.

Cauble, Dodge City, defeated Great Bend’s Meg Wilson in Tuesday’s Republican primary.

District 5 encompasses most of western Kansas.

According to the Kansas Secretary of State, Cauble carried 55 percent of the vote, winning 15,533 to 12,765.
