GARDEN CITY- A Kansas man died in an accident just after 7:30 p.m. on Thursday in Finney County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Danny R. Hewes, 66, Cimarron, was southbound on Ingalls Road twenty-seven miles southeast of Garden City. The vehicle left the roadway to the right, entered the ditch and rolled several times, ejecting the driver.

Hewes was transported to St. Catherine’s Hospital where he died.
The KHP reported he was wearing a helmet.
