Two injured in Pratt County accident

PRATT, Kan. — Two people were taken to a hospital in Pratt after a one-vehicle accident in Pratt County over the weekend.

At happened at approximately 5:38 p.m. Sunday on SE 30th Ave., just north of SE 40th St.

The driver of the 1993 Ford pickup, 17-year-old Dallas Mills of Sawyer, was transported to Pratt Regional Medical Center along with a 22-year-old passenger, Patton Mills, of Great Bend. Another passenger, 21-year-old Denise Allende, also of Great Bend, refused treatment at the scene and was not transported.

The vehicle was southbound, left the roadway going into the west ditch and rolled twice. Alcohol and speed appeared to be a factor in the accident.

The accident is under investigation by the Pratt County Sheriff’s Office.
