HUTCHINSON, KS – On Monday, TECH’s 30th Annual Fall Golf Classic was held at the Highland Golf Club. Ninety-one players made up 23 teams and competed in a scramble-play format for cash and prizes.

Finishing the day in first place was Allen Fee, Chris Nelson, Chad Wintz, and Mark Yates. The second place team was Dave Devereaux, Blake Gillen, Tom Hoover, and Grant Ringler. The third place team was Marc Ahrens, Michael Davison, Steve Ratzlaff, and Jeff Scrock.

The tournament featured special contests and prizes including a chance to win a new vehicle for a hole-in-one, and a trip to Hawaii for winning the putting contest. Awards were also given to individuals who had the longest drive, longest putt, were closest to the pin, and had the straightest drive.

The event raised funds for TECH, Inc. These funds will support men, women, and children in Reno County with developmental disabilities. TECH oversees programs at the Early Education Center, as well as the Adult Life Skills Center, and helps people with disabilities secure housing and employment.

TECH plans to hold the tournament again in fall of 2015. For more information, visit www.techinc.org, or call 620-663-1596.
