The Holiday Season also means shoplifting season is also upon us

Tis the season, when people do shopping, but fail to pay for the merchandise.

Hutchinson Police are working a case where two females, one white and one black went into a shoe store at the Hutchinson Mall and took shoes without paying. Then a 24-year-old store clerk from Famous Footwear alleges the two then attempted to strike him as he tried to stop them in the parking lot.

Police are calling it a case of aggravated assault, and shoplifting. The incident reported around 3:45 p-m Sunday afternoon.

On Saturday, an employee of Wal-Mart reported three females were shoplifting. Ashley N. Hadsell of Pratt was arrested for aggravated burglary, while 22-year-old April Brown of Hutchinson, and 17-year-old Latishal L. Hadsell of Pratt were both given notice to appear in court for for theft.

This incident reported just after 2 p-m Saturday.
