BUHLER, Kan. — It has been discussed for several months now and tonight the Buhler City Council will once again go
over a proposal by the city and USD 313 to make major improvements to several athletic facilities. The matter is up for discussion again during the Council agenda session.
The two entities are proposing more than $8.1 million in improvements including a new turf, press box bleachers, track for the football stadium, more parking around the high school, new tennis courts and major improvements to the city baseball and softball fields. The two groups have been working to come up with a funding mechanism to pay for the projects. No decisions have been made at this time. Tonight’s meeting of the Buhler City Council begins at 7 p.m. at the city offices at 219 N. Main.
