MUNICH — Siemens has named a new CEO for its Americas Wind Division.

Jacob Andersen succeeds Mark Albenze who was recently appointed to CEO of the Siemens Power Generation Services’ Wind Power and Renewables Business Unit. Before assuming this new position, Jacob Andersen was Vice President of Wind Power, Siemens Canada.

Andersen begins in his new position effective immediately and will be based in the Americas headquarters of Siemens’ Wind Power and Renewables Onshore Market Unit in Orlando, Fla., USA.
