HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two people suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident in Hutchinson Sunday afternoon.
Hutchinson Police report that 20-year-old Misty Young of Stafford lost control of her car while going south on K-61. The vehicle hit the median and then rolled, ejecting both Young and her passenger, 27-year-old Zachery Moon of Pratt.
Young was taken to St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita with injuries to her leg and hip. Moon was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of a broken leg.
The accident happened around 2:10 p.m. in the 700 block of South K-61.
