An accident that wasn’t even reported until one person went to the hospital over the weekend is still being investigated by the Reno County Sheriff’s office.
According to Sheriff Captain Wayne Baughman, at approximately 11:00 p-m, Saturday night, a 1993 Toyota Camry, driven 20-year-old Jennifer Miller of Hutchinson, was north bound on Broadacres Rd., about a 1/2 mile south of Trailwest Rd., when the vehicle entered the east ditch and rolled, this occurring as the driver attempted to steer out of the ditch.
The crash wasn’t reported until the driver went to the hospital with undetermined injuries.
A passenger in the vehicle, 20-year-old Alvin Beachy of Hutchinson also received some minor injuries in the crash, but there is no word on whether he received treatment for his injuries or not.
The vehicle was removed from the scene by friends prior to the crash being reported to law enforcement.
Miller was cited for failure to report and leaving the scene of an injury accident. And, again the crash is still being investigated.
