GORHAM, Kan. – A Salina man was injured in an accident just after 7:30 a.m. on Monday in Ellis County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria driven by David T. Shaw, 30, was east bound on Interstate 70, a mile west of Gorham.

The vehicle went off the right side of road struck a guardrail and came back across to the left shoulder and struck a bridge rail.

The vehicle spun around and came to rest on the left shoulder.

Shaw was transported to Hays Medical Center.

The KHP reported he was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
