HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Police continue to investigate an apparent armed robbery of the Kwik Shop at 43rd and Plum that happened early Monday.

According to reports, a white male came into the convenience store and demanded cash. That was about 3:25 a.m.

Police didn’t get much of a description, only that he stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall, is of medium build and may be left handed. He did have a handgun, according to Police Sgt. Eric Buller, but says they aren’t sure what type.

The suspect did demand cash and left the premises. No arrests have been made and no one was injured.
