A follow up to a story we brought you earlier this week. The 18-year-old South Hutchinson man who reportedly got into an altercation with a clerk at a Kwik Shop in South Hutchinson has been formally charged with robbery.
Kory Gall was back in court for the formal reading of the charge after he allegedly stole a pack of Marlboro’s from the Kwik Shop at 8 North Main in South Hutchinson. Allegedly, he walked behind the counter, grabbed the pack of smokes and put them in his pocket. The altercation then began with Gall allegedly shoved the clerk about 2-3 feet as he was leaving.
The clerk then reported seeing the suspect running in the area of Alaskan Hotel. Police and Sheriff officers then found him in one of the rooms of the hotel and he was arrested.
Gall’s bond remains at 3-thousand dollars and his case will be placed in the waiver-status docket for December 14.
